Bower
A therapy practice website template built around the four questions anxious visitors bring.
Role
Designer and builder
Team
Solo, AI-assisted
Timeline
3 days
Platform
Framer

Context
Group therapy practices and solo therapists in the US, and the agencies that build their sites.
Note 1
People looking for a therapist are often having a hard week. The site has to answer fast and calmly.
Problem
Visitors want to know four things: can someone here help, will my insurance cover it, how soon, and who would I see. The closest rival template filtered by format only.
Note 2
Four questions, one screen. That became the brief.
Decision
A one-sentence finder on the home page opens a board filtered by focus area, insurance, format and language, all from the CMS.
Note 3
Bower never claims to be "HIPAA compliant". A template can't promise that, so it doesn't.
Outcome
Listed Oct 26, 2026. Taken down for re-review on Oct 29 with three other templates, it passed the checker and was restored on Oct 30.
Note 4
The re-review fixes became checker rules, and the next template started cleaner.
What we cut
Client testimonials. Therapy ethics codes (APA, ACA, NASW, AAMFT) advise against them, so the template explains why there are none.
Note 5
Leaving out a standard section, and saying why, builds more trust than filling it.
Before and after
Note 6
The finder sentence on the home page beside the filtered therapist board.
Results
19
pages
10
linked CMS collections
4
search menus in the finder
Lessons
Above 10 CMS collections, Framer stops publishing. States became a text field and careers a static page to fit.
